The experience
The Italian language is one of the most well-known, studied, and spoken languages in the world and serves as a vehicle for the dissemination of our history and culture across five continents. Even in everyday speech, thanks to the millions of migrants for whom it has represented a connection to the homeland.
In Omegna, the famous writer and pedagogue Giovanni Francesco Rodari, known as Gianni Rodari, was born, and here is the location of a museum dedicated to him.
Getting to know Gianni Rodari will allow you to explore the most fable-like and joyful aspect of the Italian language. Stepping into the museum means entering a fantastic world, thanks to his countless creations. This applies to both adults and children: immersing oneself in his imagination is an unmissable opportunity for adults to rediscover their inner child and for children to learn about a great figure who speaks their language. His fantastic stories will literally transport you, thanks to multimedia, into his books and drawings, and you can “call him” by listening to his famous “telephone tales” in different languages.
