The event aims to work for the protection of biodiversity and the environment by promoting, among other things, the recovery of ancient varieties of fruit trees and the transformation, with traditional and innovative techniques, of ancient and natural fruits as well as medicinal and edible plants.
Thanks to the themes proposed, the event has experienced a growing success with the public, also thanks to a greater sensitivity developed by the market towards productions that aim to privilege the quality and genuineness of the products, representing an advantageous choice, not only for people’s health, but also for the environment.
The production and consumption of products less treated with pesticides, chemicals and artificial additives contributes to creating a healthier, more sustainable and fairer food system, bringing long-term benefits for everyone, not least producers and the local economy.
The event, now in its eighth edition, will take place on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 October 2024.
