St. Martin the Bishop, patron saint of the City of Ormea, is celebrated on November 11th. As per tradition, the religious function is celebrated at the church of the same name located in the historic center, whose construction dates back to 1300 and whose architectural structure is very simple: inside the three naves are accompanied by sturdy pillars, and austerely mark the space.
During the day there will be an exhibition of photographs from the early decades of the twentieth century, depicting people from Ormea at work, in celebration or in the village, taken from the book “Ormea, when we were many”, which will be presented on the same day at the Sala Colombo in Via Teco, 1.
