The experience
For centuries, mountain territories have represented environments of harsh and inhospitable life and work. Rich in culture and communities historically rooted in them, such as the Waldensians and the Walser, but also places from which to migrate. A choice made by thousands of Piedmontese people between the 19th and 20th centuries. Walking, accompanied by a hiking guide, along the paths of these mountains, among hamlets and woods, will allow you to discover landscapes and stories that may belong to your ancestors. Among the valleys of Piedmont, through fabulous itineraries, you will see breathtaking panoramas and interesting historical/cultural elements: from the area around Cuneo to the Chisone Valley, from the Susa Valley to Verbano Cusio Ossola.
Recommended Period: From April to October. 3 levels of difficulty, depending on the degree of preparation. Mini-trekking. Walks with tasting. Please note: from December to March (depending on weather conditions), excursions on some trails may not be possible due to snow. Possible snowshoeing and ski mountaineering activities (see snow activities).
