The Italian language is one of the best known, studied and spoken languages in the world and is the vehicle for the spread of our history and culture on five continents. Also, in daily speech, thanks to the millions of migrants for whom he represented the link with the motherland.
The famous writer and pedagogue Giovanni Francesco Rodari, or Gianni Rodari, was born in Omegna and here there is a museum dedicated to him.
Getting closer to Gianni Rodari will allow you to get to know the most fairytale and joyful aspect of the Italian language. Crossing the threshold of the Museum, in fact, means entering, thanks to his countless creations, a fantastic world. This is true for adults and children: immersing themselves in his imagination is an unmissable opportunity for adults to become children again and for children to meet a grown-up who uses the same language as them. His fantastic stories will take you, literally and thanks to multimedia, into his books and drawings and you will be able to “call him” by listening, in different languages, to his famous “fairy tales on the phone”.
