Piedmontese migration in the world is a huge set of human stories and events. At the Regional Museum of the Emigration of the Piedmontese in the World you can meet many Piedmontese who left this region in search of a new life. Through their letters, photographs and stories, you will be able to identify with their lives and discover how they lived the painful phases of emigration, from their departure to the first settlement in the land of arrival and then to the life that the emigrant was gradually building. You will also be able to consult original documents, finding, if necessary, the possible events of your ancestors.
The Museum is, in fact, one of the places in Piedmont where it is possible to learn about the events of Piedmontese emigration in recent centuries. Letters and testimonies of women, men and families are exemplary of what all those who were forced to leave these lands have faced and experienced. Our meeting in the Museum is a story through memory and a union between past and present generations.
