Get ready for a unique theatrical experience in Alba on July 23, 2025, with the show “MERICA!“. This unmissable event, curated by Paolo Tibaldi with the participation of Oscar Barile and Gianpiero Gregorio, promises a touching narrative on Piedmontese migration in the twentieth century, enriched by the logbook of Tibaldi’s recent Argentine experience.

The initiative, with free admission, will be held at the “g. Sacerdote” summer arena of the “G. Busca” Social Theater in Alba, starting at 21:00. In case of bad weather, the show will be moved to the “M. Torta Morolin” room of the same theater.

The Collaboration between Italea Piemonte and Paolo Tibaldi

This event is a further stage in the fruitful collaboration between Italea Piemonte and the actor Paolo Tibaldi, born on the occasion of his theatrical tour in Argentina. A union that has made it possible to bring Piedmontese stories and roots overseas, strengthening ties with communities of descendants and offering new perspectives on the complex issue of emigration.

The Argentine tour, of which Tibaldi recently shared the details also to the microphones of Radio Valle Belbo, is a concrete example of Italea Piemonte’s commitment to enhancing the cultural heritage linked to migration and to keeping alive the memory of the experiences of our ancestors.

We invite you to participate in large numbers in this evening of reflection and discovery. For more information and reservations, you can consult teatrosocialebusca.eventbrite.com or contact the number 0173/292470 and the email address teatro.sociale@comune.alba.cn.it.
