Italea Piemonte / Radici Piemontesi ETS and the I.F.S.E. Italian Food Style Education Association, the only cooking academy recognized as Italian Excellence by the General Secretariat of the Republic, have just signed a collaboration agreement to carry out, each according to their skills, “common” activities in support of the realization of the “2024 Year of Roots” project”, aimed at promoting and welcoming Italian and Italian-descendant travelers, intending to discover the places and traditions of their origins.

Under the name “Recipes of the roots“, short half-day workshops will allow participants to approach the tools for the preparation of a complete typical Piedmontese meal, from appetizer to dessert, and the relative pairings with wines and oils from our region.

Radici Piemontesi ETS – born in July 2023 thanks to the Call for Ideas promoted by MAECI DGIT as part of the 2024 Year of Roots project – builds and proposes, like Italea Piemonte within the vast regional and national Italea network, a specific tourist and cultural offer intended for Roots Travelers. Itineraries and activities that consider both the wealth of stories, cultures, landscapes, villages and traditions of the Piedmont Region and the specificity of the Traveller of the roots and his search for places of family and community memory. This new “roots” offer is aimed primarily at the more than six million Italians of Piedmontese origin residing in the world and takes care of every single service that can facilitate their journey in Italy. Equal attention is given to local communities by creating events, meetings, workshops aimed at strengthening both hospitality and the relationship with communities abroad to reconnect stories, knowledge and traditions and enhance and promote territories and villages through respectful, attentive and seasonally adjusted tourism.

The I.F.S.E.
