So far, so close - event in Mongrando

On Friday 19 July at 8:30 pm, at the civic library of Mongrando (Bi), the initiative “So far, so close – emigration beyond the Alps” organized by the Library with the patronage of the Municipality will take place.

During the evening, stories of emigration from the Elvo and Serra Valleys will be told with destinations mainly France and Switzerland. Among the stories, the story of the Mongrandese Innocenzo Armone will be remembered directly from the testimony of his nephew Jean Pierre Rey.
