Italea Piemonte is proud to celebrate a special bond that unites Piedmont, Italy and the world, through culture and art. The project is proud to support Simona Rodano, an artist, producer, educator and author, and her theatre company, Incanto Productions. Simona Rodano is known as the “Italian Fairy” for bringing the magic of the Italian language and culture to American schools, helping students rediscover their roots.

Incanto Productions, Simona Rodano’s New York-based theater company, offers bilingual musicalsand in Italian and English to schools in the New York area. Participating classes receive a teaching guide, which prepares students for the performance and makes the theater experience more engaging. In March and April 2025, the company presented the musical “Treasure Hunt: Treasure Hunt” in six theaters, with 16 performances, for an audience of about 4,000 students, from kindergarten children to high school students. The shows were supported by the IACE (Italian American Committee on Education), the Educational Office of the Consulate General of Italy in New York and the collaboration of Italea Piemonte.

Simona Rodano has recently received attention from the

The New York Times for his work. Simona, has played the Italian Fairy for years, offering multilingual musical programs to students from kindergarten to twelfth grade.
